So true--
"God is going to ask us to lead. It might mean we are going to have to put something down. It might mean the things we have to let go of might be people in our life. It might mean we have to change who we are so much that it takes a toll on us. It might mean that we might have to lose our lives completely for the cost of following Christ."

My father is the person in my life who is so hard to love, or even like. He had no use for me at all until he suffered a stroke and had no one else. He was verbally abusive to me all during my growing-up years. By the time I left home at eighteen, I had absolutely no self-esteem. I felt worthless and stupid and allowed others to mistreat me as my father had done. Many years passed before I sought counseling from a Christian therapist. I still struggle to forgive my father, but I visit him in assisted living each week and make sure his needs are met.

Hi Liz!
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I am not sure if the tiles are still there, but they were in 2003:) I actually just returned from Colorado trip last month. Got to see my friend again, and also I spent sometime at the Columbine Memorial. It was so special.
If you want to know more about Rachel, some books you might enjoy: " Rachel's Tears," "Rachel's Smiles," and " Chain Reaction." Blessings!
