Hello my dear friends, I hope your day is going well.
I was driving to school this morning, and I was thinking about how much I had to finish today; this part of the semester is what defines the word, ” nitty gritty”, because that is what it is coming down to.
I have a power point presentation due soon in Biology, and Education, along with lesson plans etc. PTL the math is taking care of itself! For a change:)
I know you’ve noticed that the ” Sister Freaks” study for today is not updated, and I have to apologize, because I had planned on writing it out, and most of it is written out on draft.
As you know though, God is in control of everything, and simply what happens when we do not do something led by the spirit, nothing comes out of it. So I have decided to put it on hold until next week.
I was listening to my ” Heart Like His” audio By Beth Moore today, and God indeed spoke so clearly through her using the life of David.
David was commissioned by God, but God did not use him right away.
He had to wait.
God had him pay attention to sheparding his father’s sheep.
He had him take care of his own responsibilities until the time
for him to be used came.
It also made me think of Elijah, and how he was comissioned by God, but for a short time, God had him stay away from speaking the truth, because He knew the people wouldn’t listen.
God always knows what He is doing!
A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
