LSOF: Too much to take in…

Hello friends,

I am writing this preparing for school this morning, but I had a question to pose here,
Do you think that there are some preacher’s that ” over” preach?

I wouldn’t normally think I could write such a thing, but there is a program here on TV, that everytime I listen; I can only listen for about 5 minutes before my stomach has turned because this person starts at a normal tone of voice and then keeps shouting.

I don’t know, it could be just me, because I know there is probably Christian music out there that I may not listen to; because its just not for me…but others it is.

I mean I was one of the people that stomached ” Passion of the Christ” first time around, and couldn’t the second.

So what is too much?

I personally, feel like I can never get enough of God, but I find Him in the still small voice that He is; but then again that’s just me.

I have been adult contemporary since I was young; I was brought up on Carol King, Amy Grant, The Eagles…and then my dad with his Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, and Alice in Chains…

As a Christian, I am into softed stuff too….

So maybe it’s just me, maybe we all have our own ways of listening to God.

He does speak differently to each of us.

I just can’t help but wonder if when people listen to shouting and screaming by a preacher or by music, if they are getting into it, ” just because” or they really do here Him…

Only God knows I suppose…

What do you think?

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Be Blessed:)
