LSOF: He still moves mountains!!!!

Mark 11:20-24

The Withered Fig Tree

20In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”

f] faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23″I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Oh my dear siestas, and siestos, blog lurkers etc….

I am having an amazing morning!

I just finished speaking with my friend Robin, and I have to tell you I was smiling ear to ear and praising God SO much after the conversation.

I know a lot of you have been praying for her, and prayers are being answered!

I told you that she was quiet, and not very social with people. And I don’t shut up, so she’s gotten used to me. But more than that…

I told you that she didn’t want to associate with me outside of work unless we were studying…

On the phone she told me she wanted to invite me and a few girl from work over for breakfast after work, so we can all just chat and have a good time…

Which she added, ” I know I should just do that, and not worry about anything.”

And then…

She told me she hasn’t picked up her guitar, paints, or writing in 10 or 11 yrs…

She wants to get herself back to doing all of that again, because she really needs the outlet…

And I added that using her gifts is most definitely what God wants us to do…

I also told her, because I was feeling like she was sort of threatened with my knowledge of the bible, that she should find a study we can both benefit from, and learn together…

She said that she probably needs that too, and we are going to study on our lunch hour at work…

I prayed in the morning on the way home about God pushing her to do more in her life, and
just encourage her to have joy.

He did SO more than that:)

With her religion they aren’t supposed to associate with anyone outside of it all…

But I think she has found that lonliness is not the answer…

And she admitted to me that God definitely had part in us getting together:)

Mark and I are going to go with her in a couple weeks to the hall, and she is SO excited that we would be open to going, and I plain out told her what I echoed in another blog post…

Its more important to have a relationship with people, then their situation….

God emphasizes that to a GREAT degree;)

I hope you have a great day…

Full of faith and joy:)

That only comes from one source…

Jesus, alone.

Be Blessed:)

P.S– One of my youth, Casey, who is only 13, writes blogs now, and I know she would love the encouragement from my siestas, as she is a young siesta:) Take a look at her blog; I am sure it won’t get updated that much, but the heart this girl has is amazing! I am SO proud of her!
