Subject: Love that’s better than life

Little Steps Of Faith: ” Love that’s better than life ”

I was listening to Vineyard Worship, and Psalm 63 came to my mind. So I opened my bible, and this verse caught my attention.

” Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
When I got to this verse, I just felt like my heart stop for a second; I mean ” WOW”, God’s love is better than my life altogether! Better than anything I could ever say or do, or the greatest possible things I could accomplish in life! It really brings focus to knowing that His love is better than anything I could ever imagine; so why would we question whether to trust and obey Him?
” O God. you are my God earnestly I seek you, my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.”
As I read Psalm 63 from the beginning, I wonder how desperate I really am for the love of God, daily? And also how many times I have tried to let the things of this world satisy me.

The most major lesson God has taught me is along with everyone wanting something to believe in, they also just want to learn how to love, and be loved.

God’s love is more awesome than anything we can imagine, and the gifts he has in store, have just got to be so amazing!

Because if he loves us more than anything in life, then that love will take us through everything, and have a value that nothing could compare to.

Take Psalm 63:1 literal for a moment, Just picture yourself in a desert, and Jesus standing by your side with a basket full of fruit, and water.

Picture your feet to the hot sand, knowing also that His blisters exist as well. and realize that He loved you so much that He came to offer all he had, and would bear the hot sand with you.

Jesus teaches us that love, true, unconditional, and genuine love; take sacrifice, and that his love or ” sacrifice” didn’t end with the cross.

Knowing this, that His love is better than life, and His sacrifices are many; We should then concentrate on acknowledging him more in our day, and sacrifice anytime that we have, even if it is only a few minutes a day.

He loves us so much, We need to live in appreciation of it, everyday we live.
