LSOF: Our World in Turmoil

By: Angie Sarich

I am sorry but this isn’t going to be a happy, rainbows and sunshine post y’all, this is something that has been twisting in my own stomach lately, and it should affect you to!

You get up in the morning, awake to the sunlight, and thank God for another day.

You fix your coffee, take a shower, and as you get ready; you listen to the news.

A world in turmoil from every part of the 7 continents.

What does that say to you?

What does it say that gas prices are higher than they were just 10 yrs ago?

What does it say that the stockmarkets has fallen so close to the mark they did during the Depression?

Are you okay with the fact the presidential candidates and their vice president candidates, are worried more about their own pride then our country?

And the fact, Sarah Palin, is being seen as a fashion accessory instead of a woman of respect?

Or the fact that our nation is more concerned with having a Black president, instead of his qualifications, or being sure of his background?

What does it say to you that people are being forced into colleges, because unemployment can’t help them find work?

Does it bother you that censorship is reaching new heights everyday?

Can you say your family can honestly go without one paycheck and still make out alright?

Can you pay all of your bills on time?

Do you think your job position is set in stone, that you will have it years to come?

Can you afford the lifestyle you have right now?

Are you okay that homosexuality is seen as accepted by our country?

Do you know there are people starving in our own country?

You can ask your own question here.

Regardless, our world is in turmoil, our Earth is dying.

We are dying, and we don’t even know it.

We are definitely living in the “ Last Days”.

Godlessness in the Last Days

There will be terrible times in the last days.

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—

having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Have nothing to do with them.

( 2 Tim 3:1-5)

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.( 2 Chr 7:14)

  1. Well I’m not going to say I agree with all of your examples Angie. But I DO agree with your main point. The only thing I made add is that a time will come when people will no longer listen.

  2. I agree with you Ang. The world is getting worse and worse and ppl who believe in God are getting painted as looney’s or fanatics cause of all the different ppl who say they believe in God doesn’t actually mean they really do. It’s sad and heartbreaking to see that were living in the end times cause God created the earth and all that’s in it and since the fall of Adam and Eve we’ve been messing things up ever since. Always gotta show the love of Christ even when we step outside church doors. And also be careful who we consider as friends. If they ain’t firmly grounded in God than they are treading on dangerous ground on possibly being led astray. Heck it even says in Revelation somewhere I believe that when the devil comes in the form of being the antichrist that he will manage to fool even some christians into taking his mark. Not a good thing at all.
