LSOF: ” Knees to the Earth”

This is an amazing song by Watermark that I was listening to on Good Friday…this Easter was a big one for me.

I just finished watching ” Believing God”- You are Who God says you are…”
MAN, seriously, that was a rough session.
Its hard to take in. And when Beth Moore was speaking to her mentor out in the audience,
it made me think of mine.
I am tired y’all so for now, I’ll just leave these pics.

I have some pictures I want to share that I took with two of my favorite Godly women:)

The first one is Debbie and I; She is my Pastor’s wife, spiritual mentor and one of the dearest friends I have in my life. If she says she’ll pray about something…I KNOW she will. She is devoted to her God,
and her family. She’s taught me pretty much everything I know about the hope we have in Jesus:)

The next picture is of my old youth counselor, and friend Kim. She taught me my first bible verse,
James 1:19 ” Be quick to listen and slow to speak.” she is an awesome person who loves her God,
and gives everything of her energy and talents to Him on a daily basis. I am proud to know her:)

LSOF: Scripture Memory Verse #8!!!

Psalm 16:8-11

8 I have set the LORD always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
       I will not be shaken.

 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,

10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, [a]
nor will you let your Holy One [b] see decay.

 11 You have made [c] known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Okay, so…I couldn’t wait…AGAIN!!!- I just love to memorize that the 15th to me is TOO far away…Sorry!

I was sitting at church yesterday listening about in the story of Luke, where Jesus actually quotes this verse:) And I fell in love with it right away:)

I hope everyone had an AMAZING Easter…I know for me personally, it was one that will go down in history:) I LOVED every moment of the day, from midnight of that Sunday, to the end of the day…

I was driving home from work the day before, and on my ipod it played Watermark’s, ” Knees to the Earth” Yep, that was all it took, I was bawling from that point.

I want to share the lyrics with you at the end of this post.

It was interesting to me when I left work on Sunday morning, person after person told me that they had a rough time trying to sleep.

And it leads me to wonder if perhaps, even those who have never heard of the real story of Easter…that maybe subconsciously something within them cried out; that perhaps their soul knew the need to grieve in rememberance, but had no clue at the time.
Its just a thought, but just think about it.

Church was wonderful though. I am so glad I got my happy little self to stay awake, and WIDE awake for the message, even after bee-bopping like I do to the praise music.(Ask anyone, they’ll tell you I DON’T and WON’T sit still;)

I sat next to my dear friend and hero in the faith Debbie, and it was just a special time.
We saw a clip of ” Passion of the Christ” with the nails being hammered into Jesus’s hands. It made me jump, as it did in the movie. Which by the way, I could only watch completely ONCE…I got sick the second time.
We sang ” The Party” I think by Chris Tomlin, and some other rocking songs…and also, ” Marvelous Light” which if I wasn’t too tired, I would have spun around at, ” Life my hands and spin around, see the life that I have found..”

Anyway, I do hope everyone had a great day, and I hope if you have never really experienced the true meaning of Easter, that perhaps today maybe you google it, or go to the library, it is a story not of the resurrection of a Savior, but a story of love.

Anyone can try to save someone, but how many would die out of love for you?

So that is the thought you can begin with…

And here is the song by Watermark.

I’ll also have pics up soon.

Love you all so much, and keep believing!!!

Angie

Knees To The Earth
Watermark

Wonderful Savior
My heart belongs to Thee
I will remember always the blood You shed for me
Wonderful Savior
My heart will know Your worth
So I will embrace You always as I walk this earth

Chorus:
Be blessed, be loved, be lifted high
Be treasured here
Be glorified
I owe my life to You my Lord
Here I am….

Beautiful Jesus
How may I bless Your heart?
Knees to the earth I bow down to everything You are
Beautiful Jesus
You are my only worth
So let me embrace You always as I walk this earth

Chorus
